The Rosebank neighbourhood is located in south-west Pickering and is bounded by the Rouge River to the west, highway 401 to the north, Petticoat Creek to the east, and Lake Ontario to the south.
Rosebank is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Pickering with initial housing development going back as far as the early 1900s. It was built out more as a subdivision in the 1970s.
Like many parts of Pickering, homes in the neighborhood are mostly detached houses on large lots.
One of the smaller neighborhoods in Pickering, this handful of a dozen or so streets is a nature lover’s dream. It includes a portion of the Rouge National Urban Park and the majority of the Petticoat Creek Conservation Area that hugs Lake Ontario. There are trails to explore in both these parks as well as trails to explore on the waterfront itself.

Located near the Whites Road exit to the 401 highway, the neighborhood doesn’t have any shopping within its borders but all your shopping needs are taken care of nearby on the north side of the highway along Kingston Road as well as just west of the neighborhood in the Scarborough neighborhood of West Rouge.
